ICONSIAM lights up the Chao Phraya riverside with “Bangkok Illuminations 2019,” a Christmas and New Year celebration phenomenon, A grand spanning showcase of majestic Thai-style Christmas trees
Bangkok – ICONSIAM, the icon of Thai prosperity and the new landmark of the Chao Phraya riverside, has partnered up with The ICONSIAM Residence Corporation Ltd., The ICONSIAM Superlux Residence Corporation Ltd. and Kasikorn Bank to host “Bangkok Illumination 2019,” from 19 November 2019 – 5 January 2020 at ICONSIAM, Charoen Nakhon Road.
The grand lighting installation features exquisite Christmas trees set to take over the entire riverfront promenade. The Christmas trees radiates Thainess as they took the inspiration from the majestic architecture of the Temple of the Dawn or Wat Arun, the historic royal temple of the Thonburi era. The highlight falls on the 22-meter tall tree decorated in traditional Thai patterns that lights up ICONSIAM’s River Park, portraying “Glory of ICONSIAM” spirit. The grand festive celebration is a testament of ICONSIAM as a world-class landmark and the one and only ultimate destination that truly encompasses the best of Thailand and the world in one place, endorsing the historic Chao Phraya River as a true global destination.
Bangkok Illumination 2019 celebrates the festive season with dazzling Thai-inspired lighting decorations along the riverside together with ICONIC Multimedia Water Features, Southeast Asian’s longest light and sound plus multimedia water extravaganza that spans 400 meters of ICONSIAM’s River Park promenade.
The ICONIC Multimedia Water Features, Southeast Asian’s longest light and sound plus multimedia water show is open free of charge to the public four times a day: 16.30, 18.30, 20.00 and 21.30 hrs, at River Park, ICONSIAM.
